ABOUT

Hi there! My name is Kearin (she/her). I'm Jewish, Queer, Neurodivergent and a First Class BA (Hons) Film Production graduate of University of Portsmouth.

I am originally from South Africa and moved over to the UK after finishing high school. I am now based in Surrey. I overall aspire to go into the film industry specialising in scriptwriting or directing whilst also having an interest in journalism.  I desire to make films specifically about mental health, social issues such as reproductive rights, human-based experiences and projects tailored with wit, quirkiness and passion. I also have interests in writing for stage, comedy, and music supervision.

In my spare time, I enjoy cuddling my dog, Bailey, binge-watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia or Catastrophe for the 600th time, drinking overpriced coffee, browsing a random charity shop for absolutely no reason and trying to contain the next creative idea I have rattling in my brain!!
